On October 31 in San Diego I swam the mile and a quarter ocean swim for the CAF -
www.ChallengedAthletesFoundation.org. This year I had trained much harder and was able to beat my previous record of 52 minutes. This year I swam it in 41 minutes. Every year the CAF puts on the San Diego Triathlon Challenge to raise grant money for challenged athletes all over the world.
Since early this year I have been working for Hanger Prosthetics. As a patient advocate I have been speaking around the country to many technicians, patients, prosthetists and medical professionals.
